Free acting workshop for children living with EB

A free acting workshop is being offered to children living with EB aged between five and 15 years old on 1 March 2015 from 10.30am - 1.00pm at The Actors Centre, London.

The workshop will be filmed and featured in the documentary Maisy and the Making of Daisy. Daisy is an independent short film about a young girl with EB, inspired by nine year old Maisy Keetch, which is being produced in the summer.

Children who attend will be able to act in the film Daisy if they wish to do so. Drinks and nibbles will be provided.

For more information or to book a place, please email: daisy@patonproductions.com before the 18 February 2015.

Nancy Paton wrote the award-winning screenplay Daisy, as a way of raising awareness of a cause close to her heartDaisy is currently a low budget charitable film funded entirely by the author. It depicts a thirteen-year-old girl called Daisy, who is living with Recessive Dystrophic Epidermolysis Bullosa (RDEB)and by chance meets Stinky, who suffers from drug addiction. Stinky, like Peter Pan, is stuck in Neverland and Daisy, like Wendy, inspires him to change his ways. She helps him learn to appreciate life, find a home, but most importantly find love, something that she might never experience. As the credits run, we are left wondering what such a powerful little girl could do with a lifetime of days.
