We are delighted to announce that our dinner with rugby legend Jason Robinson OBE raised an impressive £35,000 towards our ‘BE the difference for EB’ appeal. 

DEBRA UK celebrated a triumphant evening with dual-code, World Cup winning rugby legend Jason Robinson OBE on Tuesday 20th February, in support of those living with EB. Held on the 33rd floor of the Reed Smith Offices in London, the event began with a drinks reception and canapes, followed by a delicious three course dinner.  After dinner, Jason Robinson delivered inspiring words during a Q&A with Ian Stafford, Founder of The Sporting Club and multi-award-winning journalist, author and broadcaster. Guests were then invited to participate in a silent auction.

The funds raised play a crucial role in DEBRA UK's 'BE the difference for EB' 2024 appeal, striving to secure £5 million to provide enhanced EB care and support for today, and effective drug treatments for types of EB tomorrow.  

A special shoutout to our hosts Reed Smith LLP, BaxterStorey for providing the exquisite food and wine, Ian Stafford for hosting and our generous auction prize donors.
