Paul Maynard MP visits DEBRA charity shop in Bispham

Paul Maynard, Blackpool North and Cleveleys MP visited the DEBRA charity shop at 5 All Hallows Road, Bispham (FY2 0AS) on Friday 24 October, to help celebrate the launch of EB Awareness week and to meet with staff, volunteers and customers.

Director of Retail, Maureen Nickson said: 'We were delighted that Paul Maynard MP took time out of his busy schedule to visit our charity shop in Bispham. It was extremely worthwhile for us to demonstrate to Mr Maynard the great social and positive economic benefits that charity shops bring, especially to the local community in Bispham and how they enable us to raise much needed funds for DEBRA.

Charity shops, not only offer good quality affordable goods that have been recycled, therefore diverting from landfill but also, we provide jobs and many volunteer opportunities".

If you would like to volunteer in our Bispham shop please call them on 01253 594054.
