Collage of holiday locations including a sunny beach, a sailing boat in a harbour, mountains surrounding a lake.We have DEBRA holiday homes at six locations across the U.K.

We currently have seven holiday homes located in England and Wales, all of which are on five-star rated parks. They provide the opportunity for people living with EB, their family and carers to enjoy vital respite, relaxation and family time.

All parks offer a wide range of activities and entertainment, so you can be as active or relaxed as you want. Our homes are available for DEBRA members to book at highly discounted rates and have been adapted (where possible) to meet the needs of the EB community.

You can find the availability calendars and facilities available at each holiday home via the links below:

Once you have decided which home you would like to visit, please contact us at [email protected] or phone 01344 771961 (option 1).

I do not honestly think the holiday homes could be improved. They are in a great location with super facilities and every effort is made to ensure any queries or issues are dealt with smoothly. Thank you so much for this opportunity.

How to book

Demand for our holiday homes is always high, especially during school holidays so we have a priority booking system to ensure equal opportunity for all members wishing to book for the following year. If a priority booking date falls on a bank holiday, public holiday, or a Saturday or Sunday, the next working day will be considered the priority booking date.

  • High Season covers most school holidays; Low Season is all other weeks.
  • Advance bookings must include at least one person who has EB and who is a current DEBRA Member (exceptions may be made for bereaved family members). Please see our terms and conditions for more details.

Important dates for booking your 2024 holiday:

  • Priority 1: 2 October 2023 (Monday) - available from 9:00 am to members booking a stay in 2024 if they have not stayed at a holiday home during high season in 2023

All requests made on 2 October will be treated equally and not prioritised by the time they are received. Booking requests received after 2 October will be dealt with in the order they are received.

Priority 1 bookings via the online form have now closed.
  • Priority 2: 1 November 2023 (Wednesday) - available from 9:00 am to all members wishing to book a stay in 2024

All requests made on 1 November will be treated equally and not prioritised by the time they are received. Booking requests received after 1 November will be dealt with in the order they are received. To submit your request, please complete the form below:

    Priority 2 booking form

The above form will be active from Wednesday 1 November and closes on Tuesday 7 November 2023 at midnight.

Our homes can book up quickly, so don't miss out when you are eligible to book. We will be unable to accept any requests for 2024 before 9am on the dates mentioned above.

If you are unable to complete the form, or you are wanting to request your booking after the form deadlines, please call 01344 771961 (option 1) and leave a message for the Holidays Home Team or email [email protected] with your request. Please note our phone lines may be very busy at this time.

We will be in touch by the end of the month to let you know if we can confirm your holiday bookings request or if we can provide you with an alternative option. We review all booking requests and aim to allow as many as possible to stay in our homes; however, these requests take some time to process, so please bear with us.

A deposit of £75 is required to confirm your booking. Final balance of your stay is due no less than 8 weeks before your holiday.

Location Low Season High Season
Brynteg, North Wales £300 £550
Norfolk, England £300 £550
Poole, England £300 £550
Weymouth, England £300 £550
Windermere, England £300 £550

There may be additional charges for some services and activities, so please check with the holiday park before you book.

We will not be increasing our costs for 2024 and have increased the number of weeks considered as low season, so only standard school holidays are considered high season. If you are struggling with the costs, we have a special DEBRA holiday home grant to decrease the cost further for those on a low income and ensure respite breaks are accessible to all our members. Our Community Support Team can also help you create a budget plan for your holiday.

Thank you to our supporters

DEBRA holiday homes membersWe would like to thank our supporters for their generosity in helping to fund the purchase, maintenance and running costs of our holiday homes – without their support it wouldn’t be possible to offer members the chance to enjoy much needed time away at such highly discounted rates.

In just two years, members have stayed in the holiday homes for more than 200 weeks, which has provided respite and the opportunity to have quality time away without the time pressures and stress that life with EB can bring.

Offering highly discounted stays in our holiday homes are just one of the many ways in which we support members, and is made possible through the generosity of funders, donors and fundraisers. This support has a direct impact on improving the quality of life of those within the EB community.

You can help us continue to provide respite holidays for the EB community through a donation.

A very special thank you to the The Brothers Trust

Thank you to the The Brothers Trust whose kind and generous donation enabled us to add a sixth wonderful holiday home for our members.
