DEBRA Butterfly Ball with Award-Winning Chefs

We're delighted that on 14 June we held our Butterfly Ball at the fabulous Royal Garden Hotel, close to Kensington Gardens, with a Champagne reception followed by a sumptuous four course dinner prepared by stellar chefs, plus live music and dancing. 

The evening was a huge success raising over £55,000 to help fund EB Nurses.

The chefs each contributed a specially prepared course:

  • Jason Atherton – Multi Michelin-starred chef and owner of 15 restaurants worldwide, including Pollen Street Social, London

    Colchester crab on toast, brown crab butter, lemon gel, pickled cucumber and celery

  • Steve Munkley – Executive Head Chef at The Royal Garden Hotel, Kensington

    Pan seared stone bass, pistachio arancini with sweetcorn and samphire chowder

  • Pierre Koffmann – Renowned French Chef, one of a handful of UK based chefs to have been awarded three Michelin stars

    Fillet of beef Wellington, sauce Bordelaise potato gratin, seasonal vegetables

  • Claire Clark MBE, MOGB – Multi award winning Pastry Chef and Director of Pretty Sweet

    ‘Tea and toast’, Earl Grey cheesecake with bergamot gel, lavender crème fraiche parfait and baba toast

We are delighted that DEBRA President Simon Weston CBE was able also to join us as our guest speaker.
