Children run cake sale to fundraise for DEBRA.

Get your school involved

Partnering with DEBRA will make a big difference to us - but just as importantly, there will be positive benefits for your school too!

Why partner with us?

There are currently 5,000 people living with EB in the UK. With your help, we can provide the best care and support to those families and individuals who need it, and we can continue our search for a cure for EB. DEBRA is supported entirely by voluntary contributions so your help is vital.

Benefits for your school

Involvement in organising and delivering fundraising activities can help pupils to build their self-esteem and confidence as well as developing skills like team working, critical thinking, leadership and financial awareness. You could recognise pupils’ achievements by awarding a certificate and, once your funds are received by DEBRA, we will send a formal Certificate of Thanks for you to display.

Fundraising also offers opportunities for Head Teachers and other staff members to promote themselves as positive role models by taking on a personal challenge, doing a cake sale, etc.

It’s easy to fundraise for DEBRA

Why not hold a dress down day or host a Butterfly Day and raise both awareness of EB and vital funds.

There are lots of resources available to help you. If you have any queries or would like further help, please contact us for more details by emailing [email protected] or calling 01344 771961.
