From skydiving to Tough Mudder races, we are so grateful for the lengths our corporate partners go to to support DEBRA. Every partnership makes a huge difference and gets us one step closer to a world where no one has to suffer with EB.

AVEVA x DEBRA

AVEVA, the global leader in industrial software partnered with DEBRA in July 2022 to help raise funds to #FightEB. 

As part of their Action for Good Programme, which allows every member of AVEVA’s staff to take up to 3 days a year to do something good in their community, 29 members of the AVEVA team from across the UK took to the skies above Peterborough to skydive for DEBRA.

Their combined fundraising efforts raised over £11k which will help DEBRA to find effective treatments and ultimately cures for EB.

We are so very grateful to organisations such as AVEVA for their support, every partnership like this makes a huge difference and gets us one step closer to a world where no one has to suffer with EB.

Every year AVEVA colleagues get 3 days of paid leave to put towards a charitable cause, something they're really passionate about. Our colleagues have done lots of things but this is definitely the first skydive! It was a really awesome experience. To do it with colleagues was pretty special, to do it for a good cause like DEBRA UK was pretty special, to help people living with EB, a cause we didn't know much about. And it was just a big adrenaline rush!

The Access Group x DEBRA

The Access Group, a leading provider of business management software to small and mid-sized organisations, partnered with DEBRA as their charity partner of the year.

Throughout the year Access Group staff raised funds for DEBRA through both company-wide and local office activities including running the London Marathon, team participation in Tough Mudder races, volunteering in DEBRA retail stores and fundraising events, and a ‘Steel Day’, which saw Access Group staff complete a gruelling seven 45E-minute workouts in a single day!

Thanks to the combined efforts of Access Group staff and the businesses' commitment to match fund all proceeds raised, a massive £281k was raised for DEBRA. Thank you to The Access Group from everyone at DEBRA, your combined efforts will make a real difference and will help us get a step closer to a world where no one has to suffer with EB.

I am incredibly proud of our fundraising activities for DEBRA. It is heartening to see the extraordinary efforts our staff have made to raise funds and awareness for a charity that has such a personal connection within our Access family.
