We're delighted to announce that our annual Fight Night event has raised £80,000 to help #FightEB!

The evening was hosted on Friday 19th November by legendary boxing manager and promoter, Frank Warren, who is in his 16th year of hosting the event for DEBRA. 

Frank Warren said:

I am delighted to be hosting this incredible evening of boxing supporting DEBRA’s Fight Night. As Vice President of the charity, I have been supporting this event for more than 15 years and it is a fantastic evening.

The money raised at Fight Night will help us to fund vital healthcare such as specialist EB nurses as well as research, care and life-changing support for the EB community. 

The evening started with a champagne reception on arrival at the stunning The Brewery London venue, followed by a black-tie dinner and top-class live boxing, including boxers from The Army, The Royal Navy and The Royal Air Force.

Lucy Beall Lott, a DEBRA ambassador, gave a powerful speech to guests about her life with Recessive Dystrophic EB and her hopes for a future without EB.

"A future for people with EB is possible, we can see it, it's almost here. It will soon be possible for me to say, due to the work we are doing here tonight, that I am Lucy Beall Lott and I HAD EB."

The event also featured a live charity auction with prizes kindly donated by generous sponsors, including a live painting done on the night by artist Ben Mosely.

Thank you to our host Frank Warren, the brilliant boxing talent who performed on the night, and the team at The Brewery London for making the evening such a success and helping to raise vital funds for DEBRA.
