On a beautifully sunny Friday in July, 29 of the team from AVEVA took part in a group skydive at Sibson Aerodrome to raise money to #FightEB! The team chose to raise money for DEBRA as part of AVEVA's Action For Good programme.

Action For Good is AVEVA's employee community programme, which allows every member of staff to take up to 3 days a year to do something good in their community.

Every year AVEVA colleagues get 3 days of paid leave to put towards a charitable cause, something they're really passionate about. Our colleagues have done lots of things but this is definitely the first skydive! It was a really awesome experience. To do it with colleagues was pretty special, to do it for a good cause like DEBRA UK was pretty special, to help people living with EB, a cause we didn't know much about. And it was just a big adrenaline rush!

I'm skydiving for Action For Good with AVEVA today. Action For Good is our way of giving back to society and in this case, DEBRA UK, to help people living with EB. The experience was fantastic, I'd do it again in a heartbeat! The scary bit was hanging outside of the plane waiting to be toppled over, but then from there it was absolutely gorgeous, the views, the rushing of the wind, the landing. Loved it!
