Knowing a bit more about the meanings of words used by EB researchers can help to understand the research that we are funding and how it might affect our members.

Researchers get used to speaking their own language to each other and this can include unfamiliar words or acronyms (the intials of words put together, like "EB" instead of "epidermolysis bullosa").
