Graeme Souness – Tackling the channel, a short film created by the BBC is currently available to watch on BBC iPlayer or DEBRA's YouTube channel.

The 17-minute film provides an insight into what life is like for 14-year-old Isla, the inspiration for the Channel Swim, who is living with recessive dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa, her family and carers. The film also documents Graeme and the teams successful Channel swim which to date (28^th June) has raised over £1.3m towards DEBRA’s A Life Free of Pain appeal, which aims to raise £5m by the end of 2023 to fund drug treatments for people living with EB.
