Merrow shop team at re-opening with Town Crier and Deputy Mayor

This morning (4th August) we were excited to re-open our newly renovated Merrow shop. As a popular location for quality pre-loved shopping in the Guildford area, we were delighted to be welcoming back customers to the store.

Based at 209 Epsom Road in the heart of Merrow, this updated store offers a fresh and welcoming retail environment to browse a huge range of high quality, affordable pre-loved items, from fashion to furniture and much more.

Before re-opening at 10am we had a crowd of eager locals gathering outside, keen to explore the new look shop. The re-opening was announced to the waiting crowd by Guildford Town Crier David Peters and the ribbon cut by Deputy Mayor of Guildford Councillor Sallie Barker MBE after a short speech.

DEBRA CEO, Tony Byrne said

We are delighted to be opening our newly renovated Merrow store which now provides a more desirable retail experience for our customers in the Guildford area. We look forward to welcoming the local community to shop, donate and volunteer with DEBRA and to play their part in helping us stop the pain of EB.

Money raised from DEBRA stores will enable DEBRA to continue to provide vital community support services for families and individuals with EB, and fund potentially life-changing research that could lead to effective treatments that help stop the pain of EB.

Thank you for your support and we hope to welcome you to DEBRA Merrow or one of our other stores very soon.
