Guests to EJ Churchill shooting school stand outside Pavillion

We’re delighted to announce that our DEBRA clay pigeon sporting challenge that took place on 24 May at the E.J. Churchill Shooting Grounds raised an incredible £65,000 towards our A Life Free of Pain appeal.

22 teams took part in the challenge, it was our sixth team flurry sporting challenge at E.J. Churchill and our most successful yet. The clay pigeon shooting commenced mid-morning, followed by a champagne reception and lunch. The afternoon saw a live auction take place, followed by the prize giving.

A huge thank you to all our sponsors, auction donors and E.J. Churchill for making this a successful event. A special mention to Claude Brown and colleagues from Reed Smith, and to Simon Davies, partner of FRP Advisory, who helped to source several teams.

The DEBRA Shooting Society has raised over £1 million pounds since its creation over 20 years ago; a fantastic achievement, and even more importantly raising vital funds towards a life free of pain.
