We’re delighted to announce that our DEBRA UK clay pigeon sporting challenge that took place on 23 May at the E.J. Churchill Shooting Grounds raised an incredible £35,000 towards our BE the difference for EB appeal.

17 teams took part in the challenge, our seventh team flurry sporting challenge at E.J. Churchill. The clay pigeon shooting commenced mid-morning, followed by a champagne reception and lunch. The afternoon saw a live auction take place hosted by auctioneer Charlie Ross, followed by the prize giving.

A huge thank you to E.J. Churchill who were wonderful hosts as always, Rob Fenwick, Aston Martin for being our event partner, and Charlie Ross for making this a successful event. Of course, a further thank you to our generous auction donors and bidders. It was a great day and lovely to see so many familiar faces, as well as new ones.

Lastly, a special mention to Reed Smith LLP for bringing together seven teams, but also thank you to all the team hosts for bringing along new faces to a DEBRA UK event.

The DEBRA UK Shooting Society has raised over £1 million since its creation over 20 years ago; a fantastic achievement, and even more importantly raising vital funds to support families living with EB.
