Great Ormond Street team wear DEBRA t shirts and hold skydive certificates

After two cancelled skydives due to bad weather, the GOSH team finally completed their Jump for DEBRA on the 21st August at 11am!

The team were inspired to take on this challenge by the determination and spirit of the patients they meet living with EB, and their families.

I have been with the EB team at GOSH for three years now. I have had the privilege to meet some incredible children and their families, who have to face so much in their everyday lives. It is fair to say I will be way out of my comfort zone jumping out of a plane, but compared to what our children and their families go through every day, it really isn’t too much to ask! You may just have to remind me of that on the day! I hope that we can raise awareness of EB, and show that for all people, young and old, with every type of EB that we care passionately about EB. We hope to raise money for DEBRA so that anybody suffering with EB can get the support they need and truly deserve.

The team have raised an incredible £6,215 to #StopThePain for people living with EB!
