Providing media consent

Please help us capture Members’ Weekend and better represent the EB community by completing our media consent form.

We need more photos to show our members connecting and to show the full diversity of the EB community. Media from events like this can be used in our marketing materials to help us raise awareness of EB, inspire others to become DEBRA UK members, and for others such as researchers and donors to support us. You can find out more about our Members' Weekend photography here.

Join our Members' Weekend Facebook group

To give members a place to connect with each other before the event, have a chat, share your plans and thoughts about the weekend, and share photos with each other while you’re there, we've created a private Facebook group.

Join here

We haven’t created an event group like this before, so this is a trial as we’re keen to come up with new ways for our members to connect. As this group is dedicated to Members’ Weekend 2024, it will only be active from April 19 until May 26.

Bring a soft toy

Remember to bring a soft toy with you and/or join in with one of our workshops to get a new cuddly friend. There will also be a small number of teddies looking for new homes at the DEBRA pop-up shop!

Apply for theme park access passes

If you don’t already have an easy access pass, passes can be applied for in advance through Nimbus Disability. Access passes are also able to be used in other attractions such as the theme park.

Sign up for a 1-to-1 appointment with the Community Support Team

Our Community Support Team will be offering 1-to-1 appointments from 10:30am to 12:30pm on Saturday. If there’s something you’d like to talk about with one of the team, please contact [email protected] to book a 15-minute slot. Spaces may be available on the day, or will be arranged for you at an alternative later date after the weekend.
