See below the breakdown of the payment procedures for DEBRA Golf Society events, revised for the 2023 season.

Golf clubs are becoming far more stringent in their booking conditions, and once we have confirmed event numbers we are charged accordingly, which means late cancellations where we cannot re-sell the space is a cost to DEBRA. Also our most popular events tend to fill quickly, however, if a booked team makes a late withdrawal having made an early booking, we have little opportunity to satisfy those who originally missed out on securing a space at the event, which can result in a wasted or unallocated team space.  

Our aim is to provide you with a great day’s golf and at the same time fulfil our potential on the day. Helping us by providing payment in advance, in turn helps us maximise our event numbers and allows for a smoother process at registration.

 

Booking and Payment Conditions

• Team or individual spaces at any DEBRA Golf Society event can be booked online, over the phone (01344 771961) or by emailing the team at [email protected].
• Payment is required twelve weeks prior to the date of an event.
• If booking less than twelve weeks before the event, full payment is required at the time of booking.
• If cancelling a booking more than twelve weeks in advance, a full refund will be given or the balance transferred to an alternative event if preferred.
• If cancelling a booking less than twelve weeks in advance of the event, we are unlikely to be able to offer a refund unless the place can be filled.
• If DEBRA does not receive payment for a team or individual space at any DEBRA Golf Society event within twelve weeks of the golf day, we may offer the space to those on the event’s waiting list.
• Please supply player and handicap details to the Golf Team ([email protected]) at least 7 working days in advance of the event.
