We have some exciting news for all DEBRA Golf Society members; we are delighted to announce the launch of the DEBRA Golf Order of Merit 2024 The Heritage Cup –  brought to you by Heritage Resorts Mauritius and partners Corinium Travel – first event qualifier Hankley Common April 3rd.

One lucky team of four will win...

Two rooms for 7 nights on half board basis at the 5* Heritage Le Telfair Mauritius Resort (excluding flights). Includes complimentary green fees at Le Chateau Golf Course and one round at the new La Reserve Golf Links.

Extra nights can be added and upgrades from Half Board to Gourmet Bliss (All Inclusive ) available along with extra rounds at La Reserve at an extra special rate.

To enter you must compete with a team in at least two of our qualifying events this year. The best two aggregate team scores will count (your team may enter as many events as you like – you drop your lowest score and replace it with an improved score- and your best two scores throughout the year will count).  We will keep everybody up to date with the leaderboard after each qualifying event.

Competition rules and qualifying events

Each qualifying team event is a stableford bowmaker competition with the best two scores on each hole to count . Everyone will play off 85% of their official handicap (ladies will play off their own card and adjustment shots will be given where appropriate and men whichever tee is the allocated tee of the day). The winning team will be required to produce their handicap certificates or England Golf app link proof as a condition of qualifying for the prize.  In the event of any disputes or ties, representatives from DEBRA and Heritage Le Telfair will act as the sole arbiters of any resolution required.

Each team captain may substitute his or her team members throughout the year, but it is their decision as to which four winning players travel (a team name other than just an individual name). 

N.B.  Mulligans may be used at qualifying events but are limited to two per player per round and may not be taken on the greens or from any bunker on the course. Mulligans must be declared at the time of use and if used become the sole competitor’s ball in play.

Please also note that there is no cash or prize alternative to the prize on offer and dates of travel are to be mutually agreed -  the prize excludes international flights

• Validity: 12 months from 7th January 2025
• Reservations are on request and subject to availability (note blackout dates over peak periods such as Festive and Easter but not limited to)
• Any extras or personal expenses including but not limited to meals taken at restaurants other than the main restaurant, telephone, minibar, room service, laundry etc must be covered by the guest
