• Participants must pledge to raise the minimum sponsorship of £2,000.
• 100% of this sponsorship must be paid to DEBRA and not be used to benefit another charity, an individual or organisation.
• DEBRA has the right to withdraw a participant if we believe that it is the best interest of the charity to do so.
• DEBRA will be in regular contact with our charity place participants, this could include email, phone or post.
• Participants should keep in regular contact with DEBRA and inform the fundraising team of their fundraising plans and events.
• You must only undertake fundraising in accordance with the Fundraising Terms and Conditions specified by DEBRA.
• Participants are only to use online fundraising platforms recommended by DEBRA.
• Participants must declare any medical condition or injury that would impact their ability to undertake the TCS London Marathon or potentially cause injury.
• Participants must notify DEBRA if they sustain an injury during training and before the marathon that may impact their ability to take part.
• Participants must inform DEBRA immediately if they are unable to take part in the TCS London Marathon.
• DEBRA will consider rolling over places to 2023 only if the participant sustains an injury or extenuating circumstances prevent them from taking part. This is at DEBRA’s discretion and is not guaranteed.
• Participants who do not undertake fundraising and make efforts to reach the minimum target will not be guaranteed a place in 2023.
• Participants must read and agree to the Terms and Conditions set by TCS London Marathon.
• Participants must agree to undertake registration to The TCS Marathon by the date specified by the event organiser. DEBRA will inform participants of the deadlines but participants are responsible for adhering to these deadlines.
• Participants who do not register by the specified deadline cannot take part.
• DEBRA cannot take responsibility for any injury, losses or damage caused or sustained as a result of taking part in the TCS London Marathon. It is the responsibility of the event organiser to comply with legal and safety regulations.
