Kelling Heath Holiday Home in North Norfolk

Kelling Heath is our largest holiday home. It is very close to the North Norfolk coastline at Weybourne, making it the perfect location for both nature lovers and those who like to enjoy a relaxing day at the beach.

  • High season rate: £605 per week
  • Low season rate: £300 per week

The length of the stay is 7 nights, from Saturday at 4pm to the next Saturday at 10am. Please check the availability in the calendar below and use this form to request your booking.

 

Description

Set within 300 acres of woodland and rare open heathland in an area of outstanding natural beauty, the large, highly affordable, and accessible DEBRA UK holiday home at the Kelling Heath Holiday Park which has been adapted, as much as possible, to meet the diverse needs of the EB community, and is an ideal place to unwind, relax, and enjoy a range of activities on the North Norfolk coastline.

Being located so close to the coastline at Weybourne, makes it the perfect location for both nature lovers and for those who like to enjoy a relaxing day at the beach. 

The holiday home is located within the five-star rated Kelling Health Holiday Park which has won a Green Award for Tourism and Environmental Management and several David Bellamy Gold Conservation Awards. It is also a stargazer’s paradise with the park designated a dark site (recognised by the Stargazing Society) where you can take in views of the Milky Way and other notable night sky wonders. 

Please note, dogs are not allowed in this holiday home. This is to protect members who have pet allergies. Dogs are however permitted in our Weymouth Red and Brynteg holiday homes.

Checklist of items to take with you

To help make the most of your stay we suggest bringing the following items with you as these are not provided in the holiday home:

  • Bed linen for however many beds you’ll be using during your stay including bed sheets, duvet covers, and pillowcases
  • Towels
  • Dishwasher tablets and/or washing-up utensils
  • Washing tablets
  • Toilet roll

Prices & Bookings

All DEBRA UK holiday homes are available at heavily discounted rates for members, which can be up to 75% lower than the market rate. They are charged on a weekly rate during both low and high seasons. If you stay for less than a week during low season, you will be charged a pro-rata rate with a minimum charge of £200.

Low Season: £300
High Season: £605

A deposit of £75 is required to confirm your booking and the final balance of your stay is due no less than 8 weeks before your holiday.

Please note there may be additional charges for some of the services and activities offered within the holiday park that you are staying at. We recommend that you check before you book.

DEBRA UK members can book a stay in one of our holiday homes at a heavily discount rate, however even with this discount we understand that a holiday can be a big expense and so for individuals and families on low incomes we offer DEBRA UK holiday home grants which can help reduce the cost further.

Accessibility:

Is the Holiday Homes Wheelchair friendly:  There is ramp access to the home, but the property is not fully wheelchair accessible inside. Those who require access throughout we’d recommend Weymouth White or Windermere out of our fleet.

  • Follow the signed cycle route around the perimeter of the park or venture into the quiet country lanes surrounding the park (cycle hire available on-site)
  • Entertain the kids at the adventure playgrounds 
  • Have a go at fishing, tennis, or table tennis
  • Visit the health and fitness club which includes an indoor heated pool, gym, sauna, steam room, and spa pool 
  • Outdoor heated pool (available May-September, opening times vary)

Accessibility:

Is the park wheelchair friendly: The park is mainly flat and consideration has been taken to make is as accessible as possible. For more information, please visit the Kelling Heath Access statement

Access to facilities: Access to the Village Square is level, with a ramp onto a raised terrace. There are accessible toilets in the main building. There is a raised area within the Fitness Studio accessible via a ramp. The fitness studio equipment has been upgraded to improve accessibility. Staff at reception or a member of the team will be pleased to offer further advice.

Swimming pool and Changing area: Access to the Health & Fitness Club and Outdoor Pool is level with no ramps. The Health & Fitness Club has a disabled changing room and a chair lift providing access to and from the main pool.

Location & Amenities

The Kelling Heath Holiday Park is located near Weybourne and is only a short distance from the North Norfolk coastline and a short walk or drive to many local attractions. You can even take a trip on the historic North Norfolk Railway from right inside the park
