PhD grant awards for 3-year projects to develop clinicians into EB researchers. The criteria will be the same as for project grants with the addition of quality of research environment and training for students. 

The 2023 fellowship will be entitled the Oliver Thomas MRC EB Fellowship, in memory of Oliver Thomas, who sadly passed away from dystrophic EB in December 2021.

  • Opens on 13 October 2023 with a deadline of 11 January 2024
