We are excited to announce our involvement in the British Skin Foundation news style programme in partnership with ITN Business, ‘Skin: Below the Surface’. The programme takes an in depth view into the psychological effects of living with a skin condition and highlights how there can be much more to living with one than what's on the surface.

The programme explores personal stories, innovation and research into the area and why there is a need now more than ever to understand the connection between the mind and the skin.

In this short film, British Television presenter, Louise Minchin, interviews DEBRA member, Lucy Beall Lott, who talks about how EB has impacted her life and specifically her physical and mental wellbeing, and DEBRA President, Simon Weston CBE, who talks about the opportunity that exists through drug repurposing to radically improve quality of life for people living with EB. This new programme will be promoted digitally by both ITN and the British Skin Foundation, and we very much hope it will help raise much needed awareness of EB and support for our drug repurposing programme.
