Campaign Update: July 2022

While Westminster may be facing turbulent times, our campaign to secure Government funding to accelerate our search for life changing EB treatments continues. Our members, staff, volunteers, and supporters across the country are still writing to their MPs, asking them to raise our request for government support in Parliament and with the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care. View a copy of the letter we sent in May to the then Health Secretary, the Rt Hon Sajid Javid MP.

Our Welsh and Scottish members will also shortly be writing to their politicians asking them to support our campaign in the Senedd and the Scottish Parliament. 

You can join our campaign too by writing to your local MP and requesting that they share the health secretary letter in parliament. To help you we have created an example letter and you can find the contact details for your local MP.

With your help we can raise awareness of EB and the need for government support to ensure that in the future no one has to suffer with EB.
