New DEBRA charity shop opens in Nailsea

Customers eagerly gathered outside at the opening of the new DEBRA charity shop at Unit 5 Kings Court (off High Street), Nailsea (BS48 1AP). DEBRA Area Manager, Penny Weston and her team were joined at the opening by Chairman of the Council, Charles Cave and DEBRA Director of Retail, Maureen Nickson.

The new shop opened its doors on Thursday 30th July.

Area Manager, Penny Weston, said: "We are thrilled that the Chairman of the Council, Charles Cave took time out of his busy schedule to attend our shop opening.

"I would like to thank the local community for supporting our appeal for donated goods. Please call the shop on 01275 854461 for your free furniture collection.

"We also need volunteers to come and help out. We are always looking for people who can commit a few hours on a regular basis to volunteer in the shop. Volunteers are a vital part of the DEBRA team and greatly contribute to our aim of finding effective treatments - and ultimately a cure- for EB."

If you have any unwanted furniture or electrical goods you would like to donate to the shop (FREE collection available) or a few hours you could spare volunteering, please call the shop on 01275 854461.
