New DEBRA Furniture & Electrical shop opens in Greenwich

Customers queued outside to be the first through the door to bag a bargain at the opening of the new DEBRA charity Furniture & Electrical shop at 17/23 Woolwich Road in Greenwich (SE10 0RA). We were delighted to have the Mayor of Greenwich, Councillor Mick Hayes officially open the shop at 11.00am on Thursday 5 March.

The shop sells a wide selection of affordable, good quality used furniture and electrical items to raise funds for DEBRA.

Dan Moore, Head of DEBRA Furniture & Electrical said, "We are so pleased with the first day's sales and the number of local people who turned-out to wish us well. If we can keep the sales at this level we will be able to provide the recurring income needed to fund life changing research into treatments with the ultimate goal of finding a cure for EB."

If you have any unwanted furniture or electrical goods you would like to donate to the shop (free collection available) or a few hours you could spare volunteering, please call the shop on 0208 858 5194.
