An exciting opportunity to attend a family activity camp in Ireland on 24th to 25th November!

DEBRA Ireland have organised an activity camp in partnership with Barretstown an organisation that specialises in fun activity camps with medical back up. DEBRA Ireland have kindly invited DEBRA UK to join in with a limited amount of places to their overnight stay and activities.

All the activities have been designed to accommodate people living with EB and their families.  Families will stay in cosy cottages with their own bedrooms and bathrooms (no actual camping required!) Some families may share a cottage but the only shared facilities would be a living area. As a family camp no alcohol is allowed in site.

Kildare is not far from Dublin and many people will be travelling to Dublin and staying overnight on the 23rd November and enjoying a little taste of Dublin.

There is no cost for the camp and it is likely that a DEBRA travel grant for UK travellers towards some of the costs of travel and an additional night’s stay will be available. You will need to make your individual travel arrangements to and from Ireland.

This camp is for families where one or more of the family lives with any type of EB.

If you are interested in this event please contact Helen Weaver via helen.weaver@debra.org.uk 07880193118 by the 9th of October.

If we have more interest than spaces we will draw names out of a hat on the 9th of October.
