Miles completes #FightEB challenge

This weekend DEBRA supporter Miles Crossley has completed the third of three amazing cycle challenges to #FightEB, finishing the London to Paris cycle ride on Saturday 28 July.

Miles devised the three challenges to raise awareness of the condition and funds for DEBRA on behalf of his son Mason, who has EB.

He says: "I'm doing this to raise money to help DEBRA find a cure and end this horrific condition and ultimately create life changing results for those affected. DEBRA also support us, and I'm doing these challenges to help DEBRA support other people suffering from EB and their families."

Miles began his epic mission with the The Fred Whitton cycling challenge on 13 May covering 112 miles with 12,000 ft of climb.

Undaunted, Miles designed the second challenge himself, cycling the height of Everest – 23,000 foot – in one day.

And finally, Miles took on the London to Paris cycle ride , a three day endurance effort in the baking heat, totalling 325 miles.

Miles will be talking about how he came up with the triple cycle challenge LIVE on Good Morning Sunday on Radio 2 on Sunday, 29 July. Listen here or catch him later on iPlayer Radio.

By taking on the unique challenge, Miles is aiming to raise £7,500 for DEBRA. Read his story and help him reach his target here.
