Become a Member

We are committed to supporting people and families living in the UK who are affected by EB, whether or not they are members of DEBRA. However, becoming a member of DEBRA makes it easier to access our services.

*If you are already a member and need to change your address or contact information please fill out our change of details form.

You can become a DEBRA member if you:

  • have EB
  • are/were a relative, primary carer or partner of someone with EB

Or are working with EB:

  • as a healthcare professional
  • as a researcher specialising in EB
  • as a DEBRA volunteer, employee or trustee
  • or support a person with EB in an education setting or in the workplace

Membership is free and entitles you to a host of benefits including:

  • easy access to DEBRA literature
  • In Touch – our tri-annual newsletter featuring the latest news on healthcare, EB community support and research as well as features on people living with EB
  • access to our Annual Report
  • information on local and national fundraising events and other activities
  • invitations to local and regional meetings as well as the Annual Members' Event and AGM
  • Voting rights at the DEBRA AGM
