DEBRA in association with INTERNATIONAL GOLF FOR YOUTH invites you to take part in the South of England qualifying event of THE DUKE OF EDINBURGH CUP for the chance to play at the Royal Household Golf Club and then dine in splendour in the State Apartments of Windsor Castle.

For the first time, we will be holding this event at 2018 British Masters venue, Walton Heath.

Walton Heath is one of the world’s most highly regarded golf clubs, famous for its rich golfing and political history and the quality of its two exceptionally challenging heathland layouts, described by Jack Nicklaus as “wonderfully pure.” The Old Course has earned its place in the World’s Top 100 every year since the inception of the rankings in 1938.

In a change from previous years, the event will be played in pairs, where the two top scoring pairs will win:

The Duke of Edinburgh Cup, South Of England 2019 Winner and Runner-up Trophies. All four players will also be invited, expenses paid, to the world finals held from 29 September to 3 October 2019.

Please note that the four winners will need a current official handicap to qualify for the world finals.

World finals expenses include:

  • Five nights hotel accommodation in Windsor
  • Welcome reception and dinner at Wentworth Club
  • 36 hole ‘Duke of Edinburgh Cup’ World finals held over two days  at Bearwood Lakes and West Hill Golf Clubs
  • A match at The Royal Household Golf Club at Windsor Castle
  • Transportation between hotel, functions and golf clubs
  • Champagne Reception and Prize Giving Dinner in the State apartments of Windsor Castle with a member of the Royal Family in attendance

A partner / guest is welcome to accompany the qualifier and may share the hotel room, but functions, golf, meals and other expenses will be at partner's / guest's own cost.

Visit the Duke of Edinburgh Cup website here.

There will be additional individual and team prizes awarded on the day.

Please note that four people booking together will also play together, but competing as two pairs.
