DEBRA Great Chefs Dinner 2024

Hosted by Michel Roux, the DEBRA Great Chefs Dinner returns to The Langham, London on Monday, 30 September 2024. The theme for 2024 will be ‘Le Gavroche through the ages’.

The sumptuous black-tie dinner, now in its ninth year, will take place in the dazzling Grand Ballroom and will celebrate iconic dishes served at Le Gavroche from the 1970s until its closure. In January of this year, Le Gavroche closed its doors and held its final service after 57 years. It became a London institution and was internationally recognised for its culinary excellence and attention to detail. The 2024 DEBRA Great Chefs Dinner is a unique opportunity for you to experience the wonders of ‘Le Gavroche’ one final time, all whilst supporting those living EB.

Michel Roux will host the evening, commencing with Champagne and canapés, and will lead the culinary team and menu on the night. The gourmet food will be accompanied by an expert selection of fine wines.

Opened in 1865 as Europe’s first ‘Grand Hotel’, The Langham, London has an unrivalled location at the top of Regent Street. With a history of hosting royals and aristocrats, more than 150 years later, The Langham remains a London icon where the finest events take place. Originally the hotel’s dining room, The Grand Ballroom has been the cornerstone of The Langham, London since its opening and boasts hand-blown Murano Glass chandeliers and dramatic renaissance pillars.

I am delighted to host DEBRA’s 9th annual Great Chefs Dinner at the iconic Langham, London in its dazzling Grand Ballroom. The 2024 dinner will be a unique opportunity to experience the iconic dishes of Le Gavroche throughout the ages. We will treat you to a very special evening starting off with a Champagne and canapés reception followed by four courses paired with matching wines and petits fours to finish.

Last year's Great Chefs Dinner raised an incredible £102,000, helping DEBRA to support people living with the rare, extremely painful skin condition, epidermolysis bullosa (EB), also known as 'Butterfly Skin'.
