Butterfly Walk to #FightEB

We are very sorry to announce that due to Coronavirus the Butterfly Walk has been postponed. We hope to have a new date for the event very soon.

The Butterfly Walk to #FightEB is back! Join us on Saturday 4 July 2020 at 3pm (registration starts at 2pm) at the historic and beautiful Greenham Common. Originally made famous as the former U.S. Air Force Base during the Cold War, Greenham is now an open, green space that is home to over 30 species of butterflies. The route features fully accessible 5km and 10km routes that flow past the old bunkers and takes in the wildlife.

At the end of the walk you can relax, receive your medal and celebrate your achievement with a cake next to the now fully restored Air Control Tower. There'll be plenty of opportunities to speak with fellow EB families and DEBRA supporters so don't miss out! Click on the register button below to sign up.

"Brilliant day, so very well organised - wasn’t expecting all the extra lovely touches, the cakes and drinks at the end, the butterfly wings, the butterfly hunt. Another positive for us was meeting more families and the walk gave us chance to have some very in depth conversations about EB and the emotional impact on us as parents, so the walk had added benefits! A very big thank you from us, it was great."
