100km Challenge

Take on our 100km Challenge throughout August!

You can choose to complete the distance your way - run, walk or wheel - throughout the month and help raise vital awareness for the EB Community at the same time.

You can choose to take this challenge on individually or with your friends and family to collectively reach the goal.

Our Community Support Managers cannot take away the unimaginable pain the EB Community face every day, but they can ensure they do not endure it alone. By taking part in our 100km Challenge, you will help fund their specialist services as they empower and guide people living with EB to cope with life’s challenges.

When you sign up you will receive A FREE STARTER PACK including your very own unique 100km Challenge t-shirt! We would love you to join our DEBRA UK 100km Challenge Facebook group, where you will be cheered on every step of the way by your fellow participants, encouraged to share your own adventures and find out more about the Community Support services that you will be funding.

How does it work?

  • Complete 100km throughout August – you can run, walk or jog either on your own or collectively with friends or family
  • Aim to fundraise £150 or more to help fund our Community Support Managers who provide vital specialist services for the EB Community

How can I reach my fundraising target?

Here are some helpful hints and tips to help you reach your fundraising target, we are also on hand if you have any questions along the way

Online Giving Page

Once you have created your page on Facebook or JustGiving, ensure it is updated with all the 100km Challenge information, so that people can find out all about EB and the cause you are supporting.

Keeping your page up-to-date with the progress you’re making, pictures of the things you see on your exercise, selfies in your DEBRA t-shirt or sharing a personal note behind why you are taking part are all great additions to your page and will make it more engaging for potential donors!

Share, share and share again!

You cannot share too much when it comes to your online giving page - the more people that see it, the more likely you are to hit that fundraising target!

Your page can be shared across social media platforms or amongst your friends, family or colleagues. When you make your various updates throughout the challenge, don't forget to re-share the link.
