Best Practice Guidelines

Clinical practice guidelines (CPGs) are a set of recommendations for clinical care, based on evidence gained from medical science and expert opinion. CPGs help professionals understand how to treat someone with EB. With the support of clinicians and DEBRAs around the world, DEBRA International has produced many useful CPGs covering topics such as oral health, physiotherapy and wound care. Typically DEBRA UK fund two guidelines each year.

There is also a library of patient versions, for people living with EB, their family, friends and carers. Select the links below for the full lists of the CPGs and patient version available.
