Eye care for EB

For information about eye care, please seek advice and support from your EB specialist healthcare team. We would recommend that you contact your healthcare team if you have any questions.

If you are not currently under the care of an EB specialist healthcare team, then you will need to ask your GP for a referral. Please note this referral is free – there is no cost for you or your GP.

To find the details of your local GP, please visit the NHS website.

Our website also offers more guidance on managing medical care with EB, and information about all the different types of EB, if you need it.

You can also contact our EB Community Support Team. We’re here to help however we can with information, guidance and advocacy for the EB community.
