DEBRA’s partnerships
At DEBRA, we work with other organisations so we can offer the EB community new services and products that they may not otherwise have access to.
Below is a look at the partners we’re currently working with, and how they are helping us support people living with all forms of EB.
Bullen Healthcare
We know managing different EB appointments, prescriptions, and all other healthcare matters can demand a lot of time and energy. To make things simpler and reduce the stress involved, many of our members use Bullen Healthcare’s prescription home delivery service.
Bullen specialise in wound care needs and prescriptions for people with EB. They also work with specialist wound care nurses and have developed relationships with them over many years to learn from their experience and expertise in this area.
This enables Bullen to be involved in the very latest wound care advances and continually improve their offering to ensure they provide the best possible care.
Every customer with Bullen has their own personal care advisor who can work with them long term, to understand their needs and be called upon to help in any emergencies.
As a DEBRA member with Bullen, you’ll get other benefits too with their EB prescription service, like:
- Monthly stock and wellbeing check-ins.
- Free dressing cutting, delivery, re-ordering and collection.
- The largest selection of complementary items, from hand sanitisers to mattress protectors.

Whizz Kidz
We’ve partnered with Whizz Kidz to help give more children with EB the wheelchairs that they need to find more freedom and independence.
Stretched NHS budgets and costs of wheelchair equipment rising by 10-13% every year means that many families can’t afford to buy their own wheelchairs.
By working with Whizz Kidz, we can jointly fund wheelchairs for members like Everly, whose new wheelchair has been making a huge difference to her life.
You can find out more about Whizz Kidz by visiting their website.
Do you know a company who could partner with DEBRA?
If you think your company could partner with DEBRA to provide a product or service that could help the EB community, please contact Ann Avarne, our Corporate Partnerships Manager.
