We welcome anyone who may struggle with the holiday home costs to apply for a special holiday home grant. As a guide, support grants are more likely to be awarded to those on a low income or in the case of complex or difficult circumstances. All grants are considered carefully on a case by case basis. Support grants are likely to be a contribution to the cost.
Please speak to your Community Support Manager to find out more or for help with a financial check-up, review of your benefits entitlement and to give you some budgeting help to save for a holiday.
We would advise you to speak to your community support manager to ask for a grant in principle if you need a grant to be able to use our holiday homes. You are welcome to pay the booking deposit of £75 to secure a booking if you wish, as this is not included in the support grant award.
All requests for bookings are taken in line with our booking policy and being awarded a grant in principle does not mean you are treated any differently for bookings.
If you have paid a deposit and you are not awarded a grant and therefore unable to go on holiday, the deposit will be refunded back to you, as long as it is before the final payment due date, 8 weeks before your holiday.
Yes, absolutely! We understand that spreading the cost can make planning your holiday easier. Part‑payments can be arranged with the Holiday Homes team directly by calling 01344 771961 (option 1) or emailing holidayhomes@debra.org.uk.
*Please note that the full balance for your holiday must be paid at least 8 weeks before your arrival date.
The holiday homes are only to be used by the person(s) named on the booking form. No other members of the public, other guests or friends are permitted to stay overnight in the holiday home.
When you book a DEBRA holiday home, you may benefit from additional discounts or perks at the park to help make your stay even more enjoyable. We’re always working to enhance these benefits wherever possible.
