How we raise money

As we are a charity, we rely on donations to be able to do the work we do and we are incredibly grateful to everyone who supports us financially.

It is important to us that our supporters know we’re spending money wisely and for the betterment of the EB community. That’s why we commit to being open and transparent about how we are funded and where the money we raise goes.

In 2023, we generated a net income of £3.7m from our fundraising activities. It includes revenue from major gift donations, our annual events programme, donations, regular givers, legacy gifts , the DEBRA lottery, payroll givers, corporate partners , and from our other fundraising activities and from the revenue generated through our 80+ charity shops.
