You know Peninsula Group, but you may not know DEBRA UK so well, although hopefully you saw our Vice President, Graeme Souness swimming the English Channel last summer to bring epidermolysis bullosa (EB) to the public’s attention.

We are the national charity and patient support organisation for people living with EB.

EB is a group of an incredibly painful genetic skin blistering conditions that cause the skin to blister and tear at the slightest touch.

People living with EB have skin as fragile as a butterfly’s wing, which is why it is also commonly known as ‘butterfly skin’.

EB causes life-long pain but there is hope.

Together we can BE the difference for EB and improve quality of life today through enhanced EB community support, and provide real hope for a better tomorrow by investing in research to secure effective drug treatments for every type of EB.

Please join us on this journey to a world where no one suffers with EB.

There are many ways you can get involved including…
