Fergus Stewart appointed as DEBRA Ambassador

We are delighted to announce that long-time supporter, Fergus Stewart, has accepted our offer to become an official DEBRA Ambassador.

Fergus, who is the CEO of The Landmark Collection as well as General Manager of the iconic Landmark Hotel in central London, has been supporting the charity since 2020 when he first heard DEBRA Vice President, Graeme Souness CBE, talking about the challenges that people with EB face.

In subsequent years, Fergus has led The Landmark team to take on a variety of activities to raise funds for DEBRA and the EB community. These have included encouraging hotel customers to round up their bill to support DEBRA and hotel staff organising quiz nights, bacon roll sales, valentine’s day raffles and even hot dog Halloween parties! To date these activities have raised over £90k.

It isn’t all about fundraising though, every month The Landmark offers one DEBRA member family an all expenses paid experience in one of the most luxurious hotels in the country. As well as staying in the hotel, they can also dine at one of the hotel’s many restaurants and many receive tickets for London attractions, all courtesy of The Landmark, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
