Why is your 100km Challenge important?

Members weekend - Girl on a ladybug wheelchair

Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) is a painful, genetic skin condition that causes skin to blister or tear at the slightest touch – it is often referred to as ‘the worst condition you’ve never heard of’. By taking part, you can help change that.

At DEBRA UK, we are working towards our vision where no one suffers from EB by funding life-changing research into future EB treatments.

Every pound will help make a difference and enable us to continue our vital services. Together we can #FightEB, together we will beat EB.

Top tips to maximise your fundraising

Two DEBRA supporters on the beach

  1. Keep your fundraising page updated with all your progress – you can take screenshots from your tracking app, selfies in your DEBRA t-shirt or pictures of where your challenge takes you.
  2. Share, share and share again – You can use the invite button at the top of your fundraising page to your friends, family, neighbours, colleagues, or local community. Let everyone know how amazing you are!
  3. Make it personal – add your own message about why you are taking part and why it is important to you.
  4. Check with your company to see if they offer match funding or if they can donate to support you.
  5. If you come close to your fundraising target, raise it higher!
