DEBRA UK conference bursary

The grant provides support to UK based EB researchers (clinical or non-clinical) or clinical practitioners to attend key dermatology scientific/clinical meeting/conference related to EB.

Retrospective applications are not accepted; applications must be made and awarded before the event. We aim to select and notify winners within one month of closing date.

 

How much you can apply for

  • Four bursary awards are available each year and only 1 will be awarded per event.
  • You can apply for up to £500.
  • We will cover only part of the expense of attending a conference.

Travel Risks

Bursaries are paid as a reimbursement of expenses properly incurred. Any travel is undertaken at the sole risk of the bursary recipient. DEBRA holds no liability in the event that travel is not possible, or is curtailed, or is cancelled, postponed or abandoned.

If you do not undertake your booked travel, DEBRA reserves the right not to pay the bursary.

Recipients of bursaries should ensure that they have adequate travel insurance to cover situations where they are unable to travel.
