About DEBRA Scotland

What we do
As well as the team based in our head office in Bracknell, we also have a dedicated DEBRA team based in Scotland to support the local EB community and help raise awareness about DEBRA and epidermolysis bullosa (EB).
Fundraising
The Scotland fundraising team are busy organising events throughout the year, whether that be the annual Big Sports Quiz Dinner, typically held in Glasgow and attended by Vice-President and Sporting Legend, Graeme Souness, or donning a kilt and joining a Kiltwalk in Glasgow, Aberdeen, Edinburgh, or Dundee spreading awareness about EB.
Laura Forsyth – Deputy Director of Fundraising (Scotland)
Laura oversees all fundraising activities based in Scotland, including events and challenges.
If you have any fundraising ideas or would like to participate in any of our events, please contact Laura via the details below:

Community Support
We also have a dedicated person in Scotland to support people living with EB and their carers. We are the national charity for people living with EB in the UK and are committed to supporting the EB community with a range of services intended to enhance quality of life, whether they are members of DEBRA or not. However, becoming a member of DEBRA makes it easier to access our services and exclusive benefits, You can apply to become a DEBRA member online, and membership is free; we’re here to support you.
Erin Reilly – Community Support Area Manager – Scotland
I joined DEBRA in April 2024 and come from a background of working with adults with disabilities for 10 years, firstly as a support worker and then with a specialist social work team.
I hope to bring my experience of working with clients with a wide variety of support needs and understanding of the social and health care systems to DEBRA members in Scotland.
