Corporate partnerships

Our corporate partners play a vital role in helping us #FightEB. We pride ourselves on offering mutually beneficial partnerships that have a positive impact on your company and staff, as well as our work supporting the EB Community, as we drive towards a cure.

Workplace fundraising is a great way to demonstrate and truly embed your business’s corporate social responsibility strategy – this includes the causes it’s committed to, the values it wants to promote and the overall impact it has on the wider community.

If executed correctly, a business’ CSR can positively affect its reputation, help attract talent, engage its current employees and even lead to increased profits.

This condition is really hard because it’s very painful when my clothes stick, when I change my dressings or when I take a bath. I cry a lot. When I grow up I want to be a scientist to make new medicines for children that have illnesses like mine. Hopefully I will cure EB. I know it’s not impossible. Everything is possible.

- Hiba, DEBRA Member

Please get in touch with Sarah today to see how your company could benefit by working with DEBRA and the difference your support would make to people living with EB. Your company really can help improve life for people today and bring hope for the future for people like Hiba, one our DEBRA Members.

Why DEBRA?

Corporate giving primarily will make a demonstrable, tangible difference by providing key funds for three areas that are vital to people living with EB:

  • Life-changing research- we are currently taking great strides in our research to find effective treatments and ultimately, a cure for EB.
  • Community Support Team- care and support to improve the quality of life for individuals and families living with EB.
  • Respite for EB families- through access to DEBRA Holiday Homes throughout the UK.

Clifford Chance has a long-standing relationship supporting DEBRA. I became their relationship contact in 2009 and since then have really enjoyed arranging regular bake sales in our offices and in more recent times taking part in 100km challenge and their Fight Night. What makes DEBRA UK stand out to me is the personal stories, hearing from the sufferers about what EB means for them and how much of a difference DEBRA can make to their lives.

- Kelly Firmin, Practice Assistant at Clifford Chance
