Are Three Legs Better Than Four?

Two Torquay men are planning to run a local half marathon with their legs tied together.

Old school friends Tom Hodgson and Kris German, both 26, plan to run the Torbay Half Marathon on June 25.

But when they set off from Paignton Pier with the rest of the runners they will begin a 13.1 mile three legged race ­– all in the name of raising vital cash for DebRA.

Tom said: “The half marathon will not be easy. We’ve tried running three-legged and we fell over. The worry is that we might still be running into the night after everyone else has gone home – but it will be worth it.”

The two men have set up a website where secure online donations can be made.
