Ladies' Circle backs DebRA

17 March 2006

Mandy Vines was elected Vice President for the National Association of Ladies’ Circles of Great Britain and Ireland 2005, and will become President in May 2006.

Mandy has chosen DebRA as her National Charity for 2006-2007.

Ladies’ Circle is an organisation for young women between the ages of 18 and 45 and aims to promote friendship through social contact at local, national and international level and to be of service to the community.

For many years, Circlers were the wives or partners of Round Tablers but in 1993, the rules were changed and Ladies’ Circle is now open to women in the age range 18 – 45.

The National Association of Ladies’ Circle has over 4000 members and is a founder member of Ladies Circle International, which has 21 full member countries and 12 associate countries situated around the world.
