Celebrities are donating their hats for DebRA.
Stars including Nell McAndrew, Graham Norton, Alan Rickman, David Suchet, Emma Thompson, Sir David Jason, Aled Jones, Uri Geller, Anthea Turner, Chris Tarrant, Boris Johnson, Julia Haworth, Richard Wilson, Michael Schumacher, Barbara Windsor, Roger Black, Rolf Harris, Michael Portillo, Tony Caunter, Jill Halfpenny, Peter Alliss, Frank Lampard and Ruebens Barraichello are putting their hats under the virtual hammer.
They are all taking part in the Celebrity Mad Hatter eBay Auction which launches on April 27.
To be part of the auction and to get your hands on your favourite star's headgear simply visit www.ebay.co.uk and go to the eBay for Charity section from April 27.
Until then, and during the auction you can get all the information you need through the DebRA website, including a direct link to the auction site.
The event was inspired by hat-lover Jonny Kennedy, whose life – and death – was charted in the award-winning documentary The Boy Whose Skin Fell Off.
Jonny worked hard to raise awareness of EB and to raise vital funds for DebRA. We hope the Celebrity Mad Hatter Auction will do the same.
Jonny became close friends with model Nell McAndrew, who says: “I promised my friend Jonny Kennedy, that I would continue to support DebRA whenever I could.
"Their Celebrity Mad Hatter Auction is a great way to help raise awareness and funds for such a great cause, by simply bidding for your favourite hat.
"I have donated two hats, the pretty Philip Treacy one I wore when I first met Jonny and a very classy Gabriela Ligenza hat I wore at Ascot.
"Make sure you bid and support DebRA and keep Jonny’s dream alive of finding a cure for EB.”
Other hats to look out for include Uri Geller's - he is donating the hat he wore on the first ever 'I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here!'. It comes complete with a little jungle mud!
And Richard Wilson has donated a fabulous Vivienne Westwood number.
The auction is part of DebRA’s Mad Hatter campaign which includes MAD HATTER DAYon Friday May 5, when DebRA supporters will be wearing a hat for the day and making a £1 donation to DebRA.
