Della's round the world challenge for DebRA
On 13th September 2009, DebRA supporter Della Parsons will be setting off from Hull on one of 10 boats competing in the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race. It's the only race of its kind that allows complete amateurs to take part!
Della said: "Taking part in the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race is going to be a truly incredible experience and I thought it a great opportunity to make it not just about me but about others too. Therefore, I've decided to raise both funds for and awareness of a charity that is close to my heart."
It will be a huge 10 month challenge for Della. The race will take her across 35,000 miles and everyone at DebRA will be supporting her all the way.
