News alert - 2009 Flora London Marathon registration

Please be aware that a new online public entry system for the 2009 Flora London Marathon (scheduled for Sunday 26th April 2009) opens at noon on Sunday 13th April.

Flora London Marathon will not be taking postal entries this year so you will need to enter online through the Flora London Marathon website.

The entry system will close once 120,000 entries have been logged.

We understand that a trial of the system has already resulted in several thousand entries being logged. The FLM organisers expect 20,000 to submit their entries on 13th April, Marathon Day, alone.

If you want to participate in FLM 2009, please log your entry as quickly as possible from noon on 13th April as we expect the full capacity to be reached “quite quickly”.

How quickly is a pure guess but to avoid disappointment the advice must be to log onto the London Marathon website as soon as possible.
