Fundraising and how you can help

There are lots of ways you can help DebRA to improve the lives of those affected by EB.

Organise your own event

• If you are not sure what to do simply visit our A-Z of Fundraising ideas.
• Try and get your local community involved. You can hand out leaflets, organise a collection, gather publicity or raise funds through the Just Giving website.
• Stage your own fun and glamorous social event.
• If you don't want to organise your own event, join one that is already organised! Visit the events diary for ideas or visit the Local Fundraising section of the site to find out what's going on in your community.

Get sporty

• DebRA runs the largest charity Golfing Society in the UK, with around 20 top-class golfing events taking place across the UK each year.
• If you are interested in clay pigeon shooting then get involved with DebRA's growing Shooting Society. Simulated game days and competition days are great fun.
• DebRA is involved in the most prestigious running events in the UK, including the London Marathon and the Great North Run. DebRA has had gold charity status for the London Triathlon for the past two years.
• Runs and treks can be fun - even for those who are not as fit as they would like to be. Contact Andrew Colville on 01344 771961 for information.

Support DebRA Shops

• DebRA operates over 60 shops across the UK.
• You can donate good quality furniture, clothing, bric-a-brac, books and CDs to any of our stores.
• Volunteer your time. We are always looking for people who can commit a few hours on a regular basis to help out in our shops.

Give what you can

• Get your company involved. Visit our Company Fundraising section for ways to do this.
• To make a one-off donation to DebRA simply click on the donate button at the bottom of the page.
• Regular giving really helps DebRA plan for the future. If you would like to set up a Direct Debit please click here.
• Remember that if you Gift Aid your donation, whether a one-off or regular, we can reclaim the tax from the Government, at no extra cost to you.
• If you would like information about remembering DebRA in your will, please visit our legacy section. This is a wonderful way to ensure that DebRA's work continues well into the future.
